Meet Nohelani Church,

PA-C

Hi! I am Nohelani (No-hay-law-knee) Church.  I grew up in Maui, Hawaii and then moved to southern California in elementary school. I have always lived by the beach and love anything that has to do with the water! So naturally when it came time to go to college, I decided to attend University of California, Santa Barbara for my Bachelor’s Degree (located right on the ocean!). After college I worked as a chemist for a private lab and decided I really wanted to be in the medical field. I quit my career as a chemist and became an EMT working with 2 local southern California Fire Departments. As my love for medicine grew, I decided it was time to pursue a career as a Physician Assistant. I attended Touro University in Nevada where I graduated with Phi Alpha Honors. I have been living in Colorado now for almost 7 years and just love it here.  I do miss the beach, but I am really enjoying white-water rafting and stand-up paddle boarding on the lakes!

I thoroughly enjoy being a PA and being a part of Castle Pines Urgent Care.  I love being able to meet, talk and help patients with whatever is concerning them. It is very important to me to build a relationship with my patients founded on trust and open communication. I like to listen to my patients and make sure they feel they are being heard and together we can make decisions in regards to their healthcare.

When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family. I am fortunate that most of my family has now moved to Colorado. My husband and I like to attend sporting events whenever we can and spend time in the gym working out together to stay fit/ healthy.  I recently have been doing a lot of runDisney races varying from 5Ks to half marathons. I love these races as they are challenging yet so rewarding when you cross that finish line, plus who does not want to run in the Disney parks!
