Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between Castle Pines Urgent Care and Family Practice and an “Emergency Care” facility?

The biggest difference is that Castle Pines Urgent Care and Family Practice provides both on going, long-term care and urgent care. We’re not just your “after-hour” physicians. We’re your neighborhood doctors and we’re concerned about your everyday health. That means we know you and your medical history. Of course, we’re also here for those illnesses and injuries that happen at inopportune times!

Castle Pines is a small community. Will I have access to the care I need if my needs are unique?

Like you, we’ve chosen to live in Castle Pines because it’s smaller and provides the lifestyle we enjoy. But that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice when it comes to care. Dr. Wilner has more than 20 years of medical experience in the Denver area and has established excellent relationships with the medical community there. So you’ll get great care here at home, and should you need a specialist, we have the relationships and connections to make sure you get the finest additional care as well.

What insurances do you accept?

We accept most major medical insurance plans. Here’s a list of the plans we accept. If you don’t find your carrier on this list, we can still cover you as an out-of-network provider. Give us a call and we’ll figure out how to make that happen.

Am I really going to get the level of care I want at an “Urgent Care” facility?

Absolutely! While we offer Urgent Care, we’re also Family Practitioners. We take your family’s health seriously. Here’s a list of the normal services we provide. The fact that we also offer Urgent Care is simply a bonus!

Are there any areas of care that aren’t covered at your facility?

We can handle most Urgent Care needs you may have. If your condition is life threatening or requires the special attention and services of an Emergency Room, you should contact an Emergency Room directly.
